"EasySelect" is the only link you need to find all available health insurance plans for visitors in one click"
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) August 15, 2012
India Network Foundation, a non-profit US based sponsor of visitor health insurance in the USA, announced today a new version of “EasySelect”, a software program to assist members in choosing the right plan for their visiting parents. The technology tool is designed to take the complexity out of the selection process when choosing an insurance plan by showing the benefits and premiums by age group with only a few clicks. Many elderly Asian Indian parents often find it difficult to understand health insurance options available on various insurance web sites. Recent green card holders who travel to the United States with diabetes or high blood pressure or any other medical condition may be eligible for an India Network health plan with pre existing condition coverage.
Dr. KV Rao, India Network Foundation founder commented, “The new EasySelect tool is the only tool you need to understand medical insurance coverage, limits, and premiums in one easy-to-read format. We hope it helps those enrolling for the first time as well as those returning members comparing health insurance programs."
Insurance plans in general are confusing with several pages of exclusions, and not all limitations are obvious. Today, almost all visitor health insurance plans in the market either fully or partially deny all claims related to heart problems, stroke, brain hemorrhage, etc. under one pretense or another. Diabetes and blood pressure are two prominent medical problems among Indian parents visiting the United States that require at least one visit to an emergency room.
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) study indicates that the prevalence of diabetes is about 8.3% with vast differences by rural/urban, age, and socio-economic status in India. About 62.4 million adults in India are diagnosed with diabetes as of 2011. Yet, insurance companies are shy of providing any coverage for pre existing condition related illnesses.
India Network Foundation has confirmed its commitment to pre-existing medical insurance through its recent expansion of insurance coverage formally introduced three years ago. Currently, India Network Health Insurance provides $60,000 coverage for pre existing condition related issues. The new tool “EasySelect” will help in highlighting the coverage, limitations, deductibles, and premiums in an organized tabular format to make an intelligent decision for visitors of all ages. Recent immigrants that wish guidance in selecting health insurance with pre-existing condition coverage may contact India Network at 877-204-0222.
