Heartsmith Working With Local Pet Charity

Share Article

Heartsmith will donate $1.00 to a local pet charity (peace4paws) for every entry submitted to their Dog Days of Summer Contest between now and September 7, 2012.

Heartsmith, the online source for lockets and engravable pendants, is sponsoring a contest to win a Gift Certificate valued at $100. Heartsmith has a huge following of pet lovers who purchase lockets for their favorite pet. A locket necklace is worn to keep their pet memorabilia close to their heart. A locket is purchased not only to honor the living pet, who is a joyous companion, but also as a memorial to the beloved pets who have passed on. Losing a pet is an emotional time for anyone who has experienced their unconditional love. Celebrating their life with a Heartsmith locket, filling it with a bit of fur or a photo, and personalizing it with their name makes their passing a bit easier.

From now until Sept 7, 2012, Heartsmith is sponsoring a contest to win a free locket, valued at $100. To enter, they ask that you submit a photo of your "cool" dog and tell them how he beats the heat during these dog days of summer. After all entries are received, the voting phase begins. The photo receiving the most amount of votes wins a locket, of their choosing, along with their winning photo inserted into the locket.. Winner will be announced via email and posted on Heartsmith's website on the last day of summer - Sept 21, 2012. Entries must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the U.S. or Canada. No purchase required to participate. One entry per email address.

For every entry received, Heartsmith will donate $1.00 to Peace4Paws, a local charity whose goal is to find a peaceful, natural and happy home, for every animal, including the animals for research and related fields. This organization, located in Westwood, NJ, works with volunteers to organize local events that support permanent sanctuary and forever homes for the animals of research and related fields through fundraising events, student outreach and related events.
