New webinar series tells the story of four CSPs who successfully executed a business transformation program to generate long-term recurring revenue using cloud services.


Each CSP has a different story to tell and their own insights to share.

MSPexcellence, the business transformation experts for Cloud Solutions Providers (CSPs), today announced a new webinar series that will showcase the strategies used by four CSPs to build a highly profitable and scalable recurring revenue business based on cloud solutions. The four companies are all members of the MSPexcellence CSP Program for Google Apps Resellers and have achieved dramatic results by applying its methodologies for building their own cloud solutions ecosystem, pricing their own service bundles and selling cloud solutions to both existing and newly acquired customers.

One featured CSP is HostPapa, a web-hosting provider located in Niagara Falls, NY and Oakville, Ontario, Canada with thousands of customers across the globe. HostPapa has established a solid web hosting solution for small-to-medium sized businesses that is reliable, easy-to-use and customer service-oriented, all for a low cost. Using business-building modeling tools from the CSP Program, HostPapa increased their Average Revenue Per Unit (ARPU) from the web-hosting industry average of $135, to more than $600 per customer per year, reduced their customer churn rate by more than 20% and increase profit margins by 50%. “The CSP Program is the passport to become a successful CSP,” said Sylvain Patry, Senior VP, Business Development.

Another featured CSP is CMH Solutions, a technology-consulting firm that specializes in assisting customers with a comprehensive variety of technological solutions in Northeast Ohio. CMH Solutions has increased their monthly recurring revenue stream by tenfold, offers more advanced cloud solutions than their competition and can now proactively focus on scaling their business with additional staff. “I have exceeded my goals in less than 45 days and have a solid foundation to build on for the future,” commented CMH Solutions owner and founder Chris Hanus.

Each week, a different CSP will join Todd Hussey, MSPexcellence Partner and Co-Founder, in a conversational webinar format to discuss the secrets of their successful business transformation. “Each CSP has a different story to tell and their own insights to share,” said Hussey. “We have found that CSPs like to hear from other companies who share their same challenges and opportunities and relate their experiences in their own words. It’s an approach we use very effectively in our CSP program which we have adapted for this webinar series.”

Each session of the webinar series, “Secrets of Successful Cloud Service Providers,” will be held each Thursday at 12pm ET during the month of September.
