Colleton River Plantation Club has received its third consecutive Platinum Club of America designation, and is once again ranked among the Top 15 Residential Communities in the country by Club Leaders Forum. This prestigious recognition is based on five aspects private clubs: quality of membership, tradition and culture, amenities, governance, and quality of management and staff. Colleton River Plantation Club was one of only two clubs in South Carolina to be included in the distinguished Top 15 Residential Communities.
The Platinum Clubs of America rankings are determined by questionnaires sent to club managers and presidents of approximately 5,000 private clubs belonging to the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA). This is the sixth compilation of The Platinum Clubs of America, which is conducted every three years. In addition to residential communities, other categories of club recognition include: country clubs, golf, city/dining, athletic, and yacht.
