With a career spanning more than 50 years, legendary American rock 'n roller Gary U.S. Bonds is en route to Hong Kong for his first appearance before a Chinese audience. Gary is headlining a private event and he will be joined by Grammy Winner B.J. Thomas ("Raindrops," "Hooked on a Feeling")

"I know I've got fans in China, and they will be dancin' till a quarter to three," said legendary American rock 'n roll icon Gary U.S. Bonds as he embarked on his first trip to perform before a Chinese audience in Hong Kong. Bonds was signed to do a private event at the Hong Kong Convention Center more than fifty years after his first overseas tour during which his opening act was a relatively unknown quartet that would become the Beatles. Joining Bonds will be Grammy winner B.J. Thomas ("Raindrops") and Brian Hyland who will need no translation for "Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini," a favorite in Hong Kong karaoke circles.

Bonds returns in time for an end of month stateside release of his first ever holiday album, "Christmas Is On," for GLA Music Worldwide.
