As of April 2012, Arlington, TX has seen a reduction in the majority of crimes that are recorded on a monthly basis. Three categories recorded higher numbers by April 2012 than at the same time last year -- Aggravated Assault, Robbery, and Rape. Reported Rapes were up 36% from April of 2011. The biggest decline so far in 2012 compared to last year was in Burglary which saw a 15% drop.
