Fadó Irish Pub & Restaurant Seattle, partnering with United Way of King County, is hosting an Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday, October 6. The party kicks off at 4 p.m. with music and fun contests to win awesome prizes all evening. Guests can test their strength in the Stein Holding Contest and flex their stomach muscles at the Bratwurst Eating Contest. Everyone is encouraged to wear their best lederhosen and fanciest dirndl skirts for the costume contest. Live music starts at 9 p.m. with The Pop Off’s, a great party cover band. With a special menu, featuring German food and drink specials all day and night, the party will be rocking until closing time. From 4-7 p.m., 10 percent of all pub sales benefit United Way of King County. Leave it to the Irish to throw one heck of a German party. No cover charge all night!
