This November will be hotter than usual in Hotlanta when 1000+ contestants take to the stage to compete for titles in the 2012 National Bodybuilding Championships. With various categories of competition, the nation’s hottest bodies will prevail as they are judged in many categories including ‘Men’s Bodybuilding,’ ‘Women’s Bikini,’ and ‘Women’s Figure,’ just to name a few.
Thousands of spectators are expected to attend the weekend long event taking place on November 8th – 10th to determine who will receive ultimate pro division status, qualifying them to compete in the Worldwide IFBB Pro Grand Prix circuit.
Presented by GNC, with feature sponsors including Optimum Nutrition, American Body Building, MET-Rx, Lone Star Distribution, Pure Protein and more, the 2012 NPC Championships are officially sanctioned by the National Physique Committee of the USA (NPC). The NPC Nationals is the ultimate yearly qualifier for IFBB pro status.
Event registration kicks at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta on Thursday, November 8th, with weigh-ins (not open to public), followed by two days of competition starting on Friday at 1pm and Saturday at 9am with prelims in the Hyatt’s Centennial Ballroom, which spectators are invited to attend. The Finals will be held at 5pm on Saturday, which will also be open to the public.

Many of the current IFBB pro bodybuilders, fitness and figure athletes, along with many other sports celebrities will be in attendance. In years past, the event attracted a wide range of noteworthy athletes from NFL and NBA players to WWE pro wrestlers and UFC fighters.
