The Prospero Foundation, founded by Ulrik DeBo of DeBondo Capital, is proud to announce that an educational micro-loan donation has been made to a student embarking on teacher training in The Philippines, in partnership with Aski Global Ltd.
Jenny Evie Agcaoili is 18 years old and has grown up in severe poverty in a loving family. She requires funding to attend Isabela State University to reach her dream of becoming a teacher so that she can empower other youngsters to take control of their own futures.
Poverty is a rife issue within her community and with little help from the government, she is reliant on help from loans like the one The Prospero Foundation has provided for her. With a solid upbringing with values of honesty and hard work instilled into her by her proud parents, she is confident she will successfully become a teacher and help future generations.
About Educational Micro-lending with The Prospero Foundation
Through partnerships with local lending institutions, the Prospero Foundation contributes capital for the purpose of providing loans to support the education of students in developing nations. Through these partnerships, the Foundation helps exceptional and hard-working students continue or complete their education in a specific field. The chosen fields will ideally be ones that will eventually benefit the community as a whole.
