Lean Management Training for Manufacturing, Logistics, and Distribution Coming to Chicago Area

The Schaumburg, IL, workshops by the nonprofit Lean Enterprise Institute will help managers and executives launch and sustain lean transformations.

A3 management helps managers solve problems, gain agreement, mentor, and lead.

The nonprofit Lean Enterprise Institute (LEI) will present a series of 11 workshops on how to implement lean business principals in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, logistics, and distribution, May 1-3, 2012, in Schaumburg, IL.

Other courses will cover lean methods such as standardized work, problem solving, strategy deployment, culture change, and value-stream mapping for both production and non-production value streams. Registration is open now.

The workshops, which will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg, Chicago, at 1800 East Golf Road, Schaumburg, IL are:

Prices and Discounts for Lean Workshops
One-day workshops are $800. Two-day workshops are $1,600. Price includes tuition, training materials, breakfast, lunch, and snacks each day.
