Prospera Financial Services, Inc. (Prospera) announces the addition of two offices in Raleigh, NC and Charlotte, NC. Jason Steele of Weston Banks Wealth Partners brings over 16 years of experience and was formerly with Raymond James Financial. Tony Montanari of ACM Wealth Management has been advising clients since 1998 and was formerly with Capital Guardian, LLC. Tony is also joining Prospera’s management team as Vice President of Business Development.

Jason founded Weston Banks Wealth Partners in November 2010 and serves as financial advisor and investment manager with Prospera Financial. He is an accredited investment fiduciary (AIF) and his professional credentials include: Series 7, 63, 65, Certified College Planning Specialist (CCPS), and life and accident & health insurance. Jason is a North Carolina State University graduate. With Jason’s nearly two decades of experience in working with clients to develop financial plans and designing investment strategies, he wanted to partner with a firm that connected research, resources and real people to the reality of wealth management. The cornerstone of Jason’s (Mr. Steele’s) advisory role is helping his clients to plan for their lives and their legacy…thinking about the now and later.

“With Prospera Financial Services, Inc. as our Broker Dealer, we have the opportunity to work with a well-respected firm that shares our values and supports our existing relationships. This affiliation provides us with the intimacy of a smaller, service-driven boutique culture where our team’s focus can be client-centric vs. product driven.”

Tony was formerly Director of Business Development for Capital Guardian, LLC where he was instrumental in growing the firm from 5 to 75 financial advisors in less than three years. He currently holds Series 7, 63, 65 and 31 licenses as well as life and long-term care insurance licenses. Additionally, he has held the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation from the College of Financial Planning since 2003 and is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) professional, a designation that is earned in conjunction with the Wharton School of Business and the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA).Tony has been named a Five Star Wealth Manager by Charlotte Magazine in 2010, 2011 & 2012 for Best in Client Satisfaction. He has also been interviewed and quoted by local TV and print as well as national publications like The Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones News, Thomson Reuters, Registered Rep Magazine and FUNDfire.

“I chose to affiliate with Prospera because I strongly believe in their boutique culture and service model. Many firms have grown too large and have lost touch with how to treat advisors and their clients. Also, my clients and I will benefit from having access to one of the leading platforms in the industry while maintaining true independence,” says Tony Montanari.
