The upcoming 'Dracula' film set to premiere at Cannes this year is an adaptation of the real history of Vlad the Impaler, famous Romanian(Wallachian/Transylvanian) ruler, that became famous for impaling his Turkish enemies and building forests of spears and bodies. The film continues the legend, not so much along Bram Stoker's novel, but with an authentic flavor of the country and its true facts. A horror love story, it falls very well into its genre, bringing to life an entire array of fantasies and passionate love affairs, amidst demonic forces of the Transylvanian wicked woods, unsolved murders and exorcisms.
The film feels like a whirlpool of terror and passion, with incredible characters that fight for their life, immortal women that inhabit Dracula's castle and love that never dies. The Transylvanian creator, Daniel Anghelcev, along with writer and actress Diana Busuioc teamed up with director Derek Hockenbrough and cinematographer Steve Snyder in what is an exceptional piece of art. Dracula is set to hit the American theaters in October 31st of 2013.
