Recognized for their excellence in safety, reputation, staffing and more, three Advocate Health Care hospitals have been ranked as some of the finest in the region by Chicago Magazine in their annual Top Hospitals list.
Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge and Advocate Illinois Masonic, on Chicago’s north side, were ranked in the top 12 of nearly 100 hospitals surveyed in the six-county metro area.
In surveying the hospitals, Chicago Magazine began with facilities that ranked highest on the most recent U.S. News & World Report list of top hospitals and reviewed each for achievements in survival rates, reputation, facilities, services, staffing and safety.
"We are honored to be named among the area's Top Hospital’s but we are even more proud that our patients trust us to deliver excellent medical care," said Jim Skogsbergh, president and chief executive officer of Advocate Health Care.
As one of the nation’s top health systems, Advocate was also recently named as one of Chicago’s Top Workplaces by the Chicago Tribune for a third time in a row.
