Skoy Scrub and Skoy Sink Rail extend high-quality European-made product line

Housecleaning is becoming easier and even enjoyable with the introduction of two new cleaning products from Skoy Enterprises. The first product is the reusable Skoy Scrub to replace the boring green scouring pads or scrub sponges of yesteryear. The second is the Skoy Magnetic Sink Rail to efficiently hold both the new Skoy Scrub and the Skoy Cloth. Introduced in 2007, the cloth is the company’s environmentally friendly flagship product that replaces paper towels, sponges, rags, and dishcloths. Wholesale buyers and consumers alike will be impressed with the two new products, which will be displayed at the New Product Showcase and the Media Showcase, respectively, at the IHA 2013. “By introducing the scrub and the magnetic sink rail, Skoy has now entered the mainstream marketplace,” explained Karen Petersen, co-founder of the company. “In 2007, we entered the market in the green eco-friendly space with our Skoy Cloth. In fact, the cloth was shown at the Going Green Display at the 2011 IHA show. Like the cloth, our two new products are manufactured in Europe with high-quality standards and eye-catching designs.”

The Skoy Scrub represents a new concept in kitchen scouring pads. This reusable scrub, made in Europe from primarily cotton and a resin based hardener, outlasts traditional scrubbers. As a result, it saves money and controls waste. Similar to the well-known Skoy Cloth, the Skoy Scrub comes in a variety of colors and designs, adding fun as well as function to any kitchen. However, the Skoy Scrub is not limited to kitchens and works well on most surfaces. The scrub, which retails for $5.99 in a two-pack, is easily cleaned on the top rack of the dishwasher.

The Skoy Magnetic Sink Rail is a stylish stainless steel rail designed in Denmark. Unlike most sink rails with suction cups that retain bacteria and turn black, the Skoy Sink Rail is magnetic, which enables easy cleaning. “The rail is a convenient holder for the Skoy Cloth. It looks good and dries fast,” explains co-founder Michelle Lundqvist. “It attaches easily to most sinks by using two strong, under-sink magnets. This design eliminates the need for screws or other hardware.” The rail retails for $24.99.

About Skoy

In 2007, stay-at-home moms Michelle Lundqvist and Karen Petersen formed Skoy Enterprises to share with U.S. homemakers the best cleaning cloth they had ever used. Michelle, who lived in Europe in the late 1990s, discovered this cloth. When she moved back to the U.S., she could not find a similar one. Sponges were inadequate and using too many paper towels was wasteful. Extending the quality European-made product line was a natural progression of their successful business.
