The Revival Vintage Marketplace Returning to Atlanta’s Goat Farm April 13-14 With New Workshops and Complimentary Vintage Wedding Giveaway

The Spring Marketplace will host a range of vintage vendors and folk-style artists, feature several free workshops and offer music, food and for the first time, a chance for one lucky bride and groom to win a one-of-a-kind vintage wedding.

The Revival Vintage Marketplace is returning to Atlanta’s Goat Farm Arts Center, April 13-14. Building on the success of past events, The Revival will be hosting a range of vintage vendors and folk-style artists, featuring several free workshops and offering music, food and for the first time, a chance for one lucky bride and groom to win a free, one-of-a-kind vintage wedding.

This spring, The Revival will hold a wedding giveaway for one couple. Not only will the couple have the chance to create a dream wedding, but they will have the opportunity work with some of Atlanta’s top vintage designers, planners and service providers to do so. To register, the couple must come to the marketplace April 13-14 and visit the vintage wedding pavilion. The wedding package includes: 50 invitations; wedding party flowers; vintage props and event styling; wedding cake or wedding desserts for 50; photographer; printed photos; music for wedding ceremony and a band for the reception; a wedding officiant to perform the service; light catering for the reception; event management services; and the event venue. A wide range of national, regional and local vintage sellers, designers and experts will be in attendance sharing unique and exciting art, clothing, furniture, jewelry and more. All vendors have 90 percent true vintage inventory, or pieces made from vintage parts at least 20 years or older. Repurposed items, original art and handcrafted jewelry that are vintage in nature will also be featured in the marketplace. Some of April’s featured vendors include:

In addition, several complimentary workshops will be held Saturday and Sunday during The Revival. The sessions are held by authors, designers and artists and are designed to encourage creativity and offer do-it-yourself skills to vintage enthusiasts. Some of the workshops include:

“Functional Fabric Flip” from Alexa Lett- Artist, Designer, and Author of "Homemade": During this session Alexa will teach the art of "repurposing" fabric into everyday useful items. Attendees can bring their fabric dilemma and Alexa will offer ideas as to how to renew their fabric treasures into daily favorites.

“Repurposing an Old Leather Belt Into A Trendy Leather Bracelet” from Judy Martin, Artist and ReDesigner: Judy will show attendees how to use an interesting old leather belt to make an eye-catching new cuff bracelet. Leave it simple or embellish it with stamped brass, vintage buttons, a metal plate with a message, or add an art piece made to make a one-of-a-kind treasure.

“Pretty Junk” from Patricia Dibona, Graphic Designer, Teacher & Creative Coach: Patricia Dibona has taken over 20 years of her distinctive style of mixed media art and graphic design into the imaginative world of altered art and jewelry making. During this session, she will show you how to turn your pretty junk in to fabulous jewelry.

The Revival is still accepting applications from vendors for the upcoming marketplace. Tickets to The Revival are $5 and can be purchased online or at the door. Children 12 and under and parking are complimentary.
