The Camden-based Key Production that has created DVD and CD packaging for established and internationally recognised artists such as Alabama Shakes, Enter Shikari and Alt-J, Nick Cave, Atoms for Peace has launched a sister website called ‘Backstage Pass.’ As the title of the site suggests, the new venture from the company is specifically dedicated to the world of music news and in particular, up and coming bands, solo artists and acts. The website is designed to provide music fans with an insight into what’s going on with those acts that aren’t necessarily featured in weekly and monthly music magazines and media channels, yet still have something exciting and newsworthy going on.
Following the launch of Backstage Pass, Key Production has expressed excitement at its potential to become an invaluable resource for those looking to find out about exciting bands and artists as early on in their career as possible, and on its ability to become an authority for music enthusiasts. Following the launch, Key Production has thrown down the gauntlet and challenged all prospective music journalists and writers to submit their own content to the site for consideration. Challenging people to submit as much information as possible, Key Production hopes that this will see the site inundated with information, from upcoming releases to tour dates and new signings.
All information of this sort, or in fact anything which may be of interest to music fans, can be submitted to news(at)backstagepassmusic(dot)com where it will be considered for publication.
Key Production places emphasis on the idea that this is very much a home for the music lover, a place where they can express themselves whilst simultaneously providing interesting insights and information for like-minded people to read. The site itself also contains a ‘Submit A Review’ section, where fans can upload any of their own content for consideration.
