Denise Brinkmeyer Recognized as Top Woman Entrepreneur

I am honored by the recognition from Enterprising Women Magazine and excited about our new status as a woman owned business.

Enterprising Women magazine recently announced the recipients of the 2013 Enterprising Women of the Year Awards. Denise Brinkmeyer, President of JUMP Technology Services has received an honorable mention. This honor recognizes women business owners, who have demonstrated that they have fast-growth businesses, mentor or actively support other women and girls involved in entrepreneurship, and stand out as leaders in their communities. Many of the honorable mention recipients are also leaders in key organizations that support the growth of women's entrepreneurship. Honorees will be recognized at the awards celebration in April. The award recipients were chosen from hundreds of nominations.

"The Enterprising Women of the Year Class of 2013 is a remarkable group of women leaders," said Monica Smiley, Editor & Publisher at Enterprising Women Magazine. "This annual event is unlike any other as it celebrates each recipient and brings together the finest women entrepreneurs from around the world to network, share best practices and celebrate their amazing achievements."

Capturing an award for woman entrepreneurs seems timely. JUMP recently certified with the SBA as a Woman Owned Business due to the company's change in ownership in January of this year. The new certification will help JUMP target federal projects.

"I am honored by the recognition from Enterprising Women Magazine and excited about our new status as a woman owned business," said Denise Brinkmeyer. "Having spent the last decade serving State of Oklahoma agencies, I think it is natural for us to pursue federal government projects. We hope to extend our reputation for delivering affordable quality products to government agencies to projects with the federal government. Considering the current budget reality, we would value the opportunity to demonstrate that quality work can be delivered affordably even to government agencies."

"Most importantly, all of our customers will benefit from this new pursuit," said Michelle Cody, Senior Associate and Manager of JUMP's Projects Office. "As a result, we've slated upgrades to all of our customer communication systems this year. Customers will also be able to monitor invoices and make payments online."
