Pittsburgh-based InventHelp attempts to submit clients’ inventions to companies for review.

InventHelp®, America’s largest inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from California, has designed a device that could enable a user to decorate a cake while standing up straight. This invention is patented.

“Cake Decorating Magic” is a turntable accessory that would feature an array of differently sized extension rods that position the table at a comfortable height. This feature saves a user from having to bend over in order to decorate a cake. The invention is designed to reduce the back and neck pain associated with traditional cake decoration methods. Cake Decorating Magic could fit over an existing turntable base or is suitable for use as a display stand.

Cake Decorating Magic would consist of three sections: a base, four interchangeable extension rods and a work table base. The unit is composed of the same dishwasher-safe plastic used to construct a butcher block; the extension rods could be composed of steel tubing or butcher block. A utility table, which would hold the cake decorating supplies, could be connected to the center of the extension rod. A raised lip would run along the edge of the table to prevent decorating tips from rolling off. To operate, a user would slide the base neck collar over the existing turntable base, insert the extension rod and tighten the set screws. Then the user would attach the work table. Decorate the cake normally. Variations would consist of a version utilizing a telescopic extension rod.

InventHelp is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 07-SAM-3098 at (800) 851-6030.
