Industry expert Ronacrete will be exhibiting, its market leading, resin bound and bonded surfacing and tree pit systems, in the BALI Pavilion at Eco Build from March 5th to 7th and will be launching the new EcoBound range.
“Eco Build 2013 is an ideal opportunity to showcase these SuDS systems which have many true eco credentials with new ones being added on a regular basis. We also, as industry experts wanted to show the first, top to bottom, fully-eco resin bound surfacing system. There are four permeable eco sub base options and these can be topped with eco resin and recycled aggregates and to top this, our Low VOC cleaners are available for both ongoing equipment cleaning and after care.” -- Daren Chambers, Sales and Marketing Director.
New at Ecobuild - Fully Eco-Bound system
Ronacrete is launching its new EcoBound range at Ecobuild. Unlike the systems available from many companies in the market who just offer recycled aggregates as a token ‘green’ commitment, EcoBound is a Eco Fully permeable SuDS compliant system. From the permeable resin, to the mix-blend aggregate, through the four fully-permeable sub base options, to the cleaners used for the application tools and aftercare.
1. Permeable (SuDS compliant) resin – contains 38% materials from a renewable source
2. Four fully permeable bases:
- EcoGrid – grid base produced from 100% recyclable materials
- EcoAgg – moisture tolerant resin and recycled aggregate base
- EcoCrumb – recycled tyre rubber and aggregate base
- EcoBound on permeable asphalt
3. Recycled and or locally-sourced aggregates
4. Low VOC trowel cleaner and Low VOC after care solution to keep surfaces looking like new
Also new at Ecobuild is Ronacrete Eco Tree Pit which like RonaDeck Tree Pit protects the trees roots with a SuDS compliant resin and aggregate mix, but has a moisture tolerant concentrated resin formulation, reducing waste and meaning that less packaging and transportation requirements. Ronacrete Eco Tree Pit can also use existing site aggregates, recycled and wet aggregates, so there is no necessity for the burning of fossil fuels.
It is important for the construction industry to move towards sustainable building so it makes sense to source sustainable aggregates wherever possible. RonaDeck Resin Bound Surfacing (as well as resin bonded and tree pit) can utilise recycled and/or locally sourced aggregates thus reducing the carbon footprint and making a contribution towards sustainability. Ronacrete working together with aggregate supplier Derbyshire Aggregates (who will also be exhibiting on stand S1904) is continually researching and expanding this range of aggregates in keeping with the goal of being a socially responsible company.
Commitment to quality standards
EcoBound offers 15 credentials which can be used as a checklist to safeguard anyone sourcing materials in this specialist market. Ronacrete are committed to highlighting good practice and to underlining the importance of seeking advice from industry experts, in order to eliminate many of the ‘cowboy’ practices, so often found in the construction industry.
Use of renewable sources
RonaDeck Resin Bound Surfacing contains 38% materials from a renewable source.
RonaDeck Tree Pit contains 36% materials from a renewable source.
Packaging and transport
All RonaDeck resins are manufactured in the UK eliminating air miles and reducing transport costs.
