They are hurt and in pain and it is an emotion that is very dangerous. We calm the person down and show them a better way to deal with their emotions

According to the BBC News article Vicky Pryce, ex-wife of Chris Huhne took the story of accepting her husband’s speeding points to the newspapers because she wanted revenge.
When asked by Mr Edis QC, prosecuting at Southwark Crown Court on Friday (case T20127076) if her motive was revenge, she said: "A lot of it was revenge, yes."
She also said she was "ashamed" that she went to the papers in 2010 about Huhne's points, but at the time she "had lost it".
The revenge was not only for the way her husband treated her over the speeding points it was also for the affair and way she found out, only hours before the newspapers, that her husband was having an affair.
