New Customer Onboarding Application, Key to Gamma-Dynacare Initiative to Accelerate Onboarding of New Clients, Partners and Institutions.

For organizations that implement the eiPortal, 80% of the time and effort spent on customer implementations is taken out of the equation.

Applied PilotFish Healthcare Integration, a provider of middleware solutions, announced today that Gamma-Dynacare Medical Laboratories has licensed the eiPortal for Healthcare Integration cloud-based app, provides all of the resources required to establish standardized initial and ongoing information exchange. It combines a web repository with everything required to configure an interface to an organization’s system with a fully automated testing facility. The testing facility enables message submission, validation and emulation of information exchanges before going live.

Gamma-Dynacare is one of Canada's largest and most respected providers of laboratory services and solutions. Their clients include 9 million patients, over 15,000 healthcare professionals, government, regional health authorities, hospitals, long-term care facilities, clinical trial sponsors, employers, insurers and other laboratories. Gamma-Dynacare’s new initiative aims to reduce the time to onboard a customer and the eiPortal is central to meeting this goal.

“We are very excited about the higher level of service we can provide our customers with the eiPortal,” said David Brajkovich, Director of Business Applications Development at Gamma-Dynacare. “The eiPortal addresses every aspect of technical customer implementation. All the resources customers need in order to configure an interface to our system are in one central location. They can self-test, validate their messages and get actionable error messages in real-time. It’s available to them 24/7 and instantly responsive. It’s a real game changer.”

“The days of individually desk-checking sample data payloads, endlessly fielding customer implementation questions and hours spent tracking down why a customer’s message failed a test are over,” said Neil Schappert, Executive Chairman of Applied PilotFish Healthcare Integration. “For organizations that implement the eiPortal, 80% of the time and effort spent on customer implementations is taken out of the equation.”

The eiPortal can be customized to meet the unique system and message certification requirements of any organization that offers a standard set of interfaces, file formats or Web services for consumption by many customers.

“The eiPortal empowers customers to work at their own speed and on their own time while it frees up the hosting organization’s IT staff for other initiatives,” said Neil Schappert. “The value proposition for implementing an eiPortal is irrefutable.”

Applied PilotFish Healthcare Integration is exhibiting at HiMSS13, March 4-6, 2013, New Orleans, LA, Booth #7941 – see live demos of the eiPortal and eiConsole for Healthcare (an IDE featuring a graphical Assembly Line for configuring interfaces).
