Six More ADDY® Awards for Bit-Wizards

Best of Show Award for Mapex MyDentity web app tops off the evening for the software firm’s creative wizards.

For the third consecutive year, Bit-Wizards continues to provide evidence of their design and marketing abilities. Building on two Silver ADDY® Awards in 2011 and three Silver ADDY® Awards in 2012, the company added an impressive six more ADDY® Awards — four Silver and two Gold – for 2013. And if that wasn’t enough proof, the “Best of Show” (Interactive) was awarded to the company for their MyDentity custom drum kit application developed for Mapex drums.

The ADDY® Awards are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting over 60,000 entries every year in local ADDY® competitions. The mission of the ADDY® competition is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising.

Winners of the ADDY® Awards will be eligible to compete in the second level of the three-tiered ADDY® Awards Competition, the District 4 ADDY® Awards, which will be conducted in April. The District 4 winners will then be eligible for the ultimate competition, the national ADDY®, presented in June every year by the national American Advertising Federation organization.

This year’s winning entries from Bit-Wizards included two business to business (B2B) websites, a responsive design website, a web-based application that were developed using Kentico CMS (content management system) and hosted in Microsoft’s cloud platform, Windows Azure. An online video webisode and a Windows 8 app rounded out the list, demonstrating even further, the breadth of creative and developmental talent housed at Bit-Wizards.

In addition to the formal awards, the B2B website developed for Trinity Analysis & Development Corp. was chosen as one of the three “Judge’s Picks.”
