Fraudsters beware. Suspicious ecommerce transactions are now more likely to be stopped in their tracks. Online marketing firm Grafix Softech today announced a new version of its API for its popular Fraud Risk Management product. The new API includes advanced technology to help minimize fraudulent payments in online transactions, and it’s specifically built for clients with large ecommerce volumes.

“We’re excited to launch our ecommerce-improving API and make it available to all our clients,” stated Tej Kohli, founder of Grafix. "This new version will allow us to increase our market base into varying applications. It’s going to revolutionize the way we perform business, and more importantly it’s going to change the way large ecommerce companies deal with fraud."

Chief among the enhancements of the newly released API is support for a wider variety of platforms and improved interconnectivity with major payment platforms. The new API, available today, works behind the scenes to evaluate the risk score involved with each transaction and rate the level of credibility involved with the party making the transaction.

Making the new API even more accessible is its ability to work across multiple platforms. The API is available in both HTTP and SOAP formats. And according to Kohli, that’s just the start. Grafix Softech is currently exploring partnership opportunities with third parties to integrate the API in a wider set of applications.
