English Tourism Week 2013 is a week-long celebration of events from the 16-24 March, showcasing the quality and vibrancy of the visitor experiences and the value our industry brings to our nation.
As part of the event both Hoo Farm Animal Kingdom and Haughton Hall wanted to offer a package that would help promote Shropshire as a wonderful area to visit. Sarah Pope, the Sales Manager for Haughton Hall, said, "Around 100 million domestic overnight trips are made every year and we felt that is was important to demonstrate how much our businesses have to offer." Rebecca Hindle, the Marketing Manager for Hoo Farm, said, "The competition is designed to offer a family the opportunity to spend a night at the Beautiful Haughton Hall including a complimentary family room for two adults and two children on a bed and breakfast basis, with full use of the Leisure Facilities. Also included is admission for up to four people to Hoo Farm Animal Kingdom, home to Shropshire’s friendliest animals and the famous sheep Steeplechase where they can spend the day taking part in activities such as lamb feeding, meet the reptiles, Egg Collecting and much much more."
