Chic DC area hotel, The Courtyard by Marriott Chevy Chase, recently announced two exciting Facebook contests, with prizes ranging from 40,000 Marriott reward bonus points to a free iPad mini. In addition to entering the contests, hotel guests and fans are invited to refer to the page (as well as the hotel’s Twitter profile, @CourtyardCC) to stay abreast of must-see cultural events and delicious eats, both inside the Beltway and beyond.

The first contest allows people who “Like” the hotel on Facebook to enter their hotel rewards number for a chance to win 40,000 Marriott reward bonus points (the equivalent of a 2 night stay at the hotel). In addition to free hotel stays, the points can be used toward entertainment, flights and much more.

The second contest features the hotel’s DC-loving personalities, Chevy and Chase, who have been photographed all over town. Facebook fans are invited to guess the location and activities of the dogs in the comments fields of the Where Are Chevy and Chase? photo album. Are they riding the metro and talking politics?
