Created and Hosted by Miriam Rosenberg, (Miss Miriam) The Children of the Light Performances are beginning spring and summer shows across New Jersey. Miriam created this show to make a difference with children and she has done just that. Wherever she brings her show she touches lives and ignites the human spirit in the children, their schools and their families.
Miriam grew up during a time when the children’s shows that blazed the TV screen were Bozo the Clown, Romper Room, and Captain Kangaroo! She was glued to the screen with each one. She couldn’t wait to see every show. “I remember that they made me so happy…. They were my friends and hero’s and I felt like they were talking directly to me,” says Miss Miriam. With those shows of her childhood in mind Miriam has created a modern day Romper Room or Mr. Rogers.
“The shows today are all animated, computerized, and hypnotic,” says Miss Miriam, “it's time to put the fun back into watching TV!” Her new show Children of the Light does just that. Seeing her show live or on DVD, children simply can't sit still; they get up, dance, sing and play! The show is truly a dream come true for this New Jersey entrepreneur who has dedicated her life to making a difference and a contribution to all our children.
“I just wanted to let you know how much my grandson Kenny and I enjoyed the Children’s Concert. It was a cold and rainy day but the sun was shining for the children in that room. They all enjoyed the singing and you know Kenny danced away the hours. Thank you for the wonderful program.”- J. Hecht, Director – Somerset Treatment Center, New Jersey
