Athletes in the upcoming 2575 Triathlon will enjoy a special treat at the finish line, where Eat Well Foods will be serving up 500 healthy, made-from-scratch meals. Eat Well Foods is the official food provider for the event, which takes place 6:30 am Sunday, March 17, at DC Alexander Park on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Participants will swim .75k, bike 20k, and run 5k.
“We’re not leaving anyone out,” says Eat Well Owner/Chef Mark Lew. “We’ll be serving 400 meals of Chicken In Black Bean Sauce, and for the vegetarians in the group there will be 100 meals of Autumn Dal. All meals will be accompanied by brown rice with peas and sautéed green beans.”
