Taylor Swift released the Red album with wild sales, setting a record 1.2 million sales during the first week. Since it was released on October 22, it spent five weeks at the top of the Billboard Album charts, with sales of more than 2,380,000 copies. With the much anticipated Red Concert Tour, album sales are expected to continue at a fast clip in 2013.

The Taylor Swift Red Concert will have 62 shows in 45 cities in the United States and Canada. The 23-year old will start her concert tour at the CenturyLink Center Omaha, Omaha NE on March 13th. The tour will continue up to September where it will end with three shows in Nashville, Tennessee. Besides US cities, there will also be shows in Toronto, Winnipeg and Vancouver, Canada.

Amid all the preparations for the coming concert tour, Taylor Swift has had the opportunity to pick up some awards along the way, including the Favorite Country Female Artist at the 40th American Music Awards and three awards at the MTV European Music Awards. She was also given an award by the Kennedy family during the 2012 Ripple of Hope Gala for her philanthropic projects.
