After losing family members and friends to breast cancer, Alexiss created Cleavage for the Cure to raise funds for breast cancer research. "I'm excited to bring Cleavage For The Cure to ClickStartMe. Together, we can help save the boobies!”

International glamour and fashion model Ashley Alexiss is now fronting her Cleavage for the Cure campaign on to amp up the exposure of her fight against breast cancer. Alexiss is not your average professional model. Her expanding resume includes recognition as Playboy's Miss Social for February 2011 and Playboy South Africa's first Girl Next Door. Her crowdfunding crusade to help eradicate breast cancer demonstrates that she's much more than just another pretty face.

After losing family members and friends to breast cancer, Alexiss created her innovative Cleavage for the Cure fundraising idea following a breast augmentation in 2012. Because all of her expensive bras no longer fit, she decided she could use them to help support breast cancer research by selling and auctioning them off. “I have personal experience losing family members and friends due to cancer and want to do my part to help find a cure, Alexiss said. "And have fun at the same time.”

In her effort to boost breast cancer awareness, Alexiss paired each bra with a glam photo of her wearing the delectable item, autographed both the bra and the picture and began auctioning them off online. She also launched campaign promotions through Facebook and a Cleavage for the Cure website, and tells fans and supporters, “I’m also involving other models by having a contest every month. The model who wins each month will have a spot in the 2014 Cleavage for the Cure calendar I’m putting together for next year."

Fundraising bombshell Alexiss has already donated more than $1,600 to the Susan G. Komen For The Cure fund, but she wants everyone to perk up and take notice of her cause. When she learned that crowdfunding offers a revolutionary way to reach even more supporters, she set up a project page on ClickStartMe to help raise more funds and awareness.

Ashley has added some other uplifting additions to her fundraising arsenal. “Along with bra auctions, I've also started silicone bracelet sales, as well as sales of photos that were taken for Cleavage for the Cure," Alexiss says. "I want to continue to create merchandise for my cause so I can continue to donate money to help fight this insidious disease.”

Alexiss is asking for help from everyone who shares her passion. About her crowdfunding project on ClickStartMe, Alexiss says,“This project is strictly for donations for Susan G. Komen For The Cure. Many people want to be a part of this movement I'm so proud to have created. Together, we can help save the boobies!”

Just like Ashley Alexiss, ClickStartMe is unique – it's the only crowdfunding site that gives anyone with a mission a platform to reach a mind-boggling number of supporters. When you factor in its e-commerce storefront, access to mentoring and expert advice, a plethora of social media tools to help send an appeal viral, and awesome contests with amazing prizes, it's easy to see that ClickStartME is the site that's “putting the fun in crowdfunding.”
