Kevin Pereira, former host and creator of G4's "Attack Of The Show," produces a weekly original web series from Super Creative on Machinima’s YouTube Channel, Machinima Prime starting March 28th. Featuring 13 new episodes, “Player vs. Pain” will debut Thursday, March 28 on the Machinima Prime Channel, with the release of the first episode. More new episodes will be made available on Thursdays: April 4, April 11 and April 18 through the end of June.

Each week, “Player vs Pain” will place top gamers and Machinima influencers against each other in video game challenges, while being subjected to various forms of “torture” to distract their gameplay. Hosted by TV personality Michelle Nunes and directed by Super Creative partner Yaniv Fituci, every episode will showcase modern and retro video games and subject top gamers to new torment. From taking a paintball shot for every kill in Halo to getting a strip of hair waxed off for every line cleared in Tetris, an outcry of pain is inevitable. The new trailer for “Player vs. Pain” can be viewed now:

Pereira said, “Working with Machinima to bring this twisted concept to reality has been an intensely rewarding process; I can't wait for viewers to feel the need to clear their browser history after watching dominatrixes employ shock-collars and wiffle-bats in unexpected ways. They clearly know their audience and we're just happy to produce content we believe in."

“Player vs Pain” is the latest project for veteran G4 host, Kevin Pereira and his team at Super Creative, which he founded with partners Yaniv Fituci and Ziv Haklili when he left G4 in May 2012. With an entertainment-first philosophy, Super Creative specializes in multi-platform, branded content with recent projects for Nintendo, Pioneer and the Syfy Network. Pereira created and hosted the recently aired Syfy Network series “Viral Video Showdown,” which was developed by Super Creative and produced by SallyAnn Salsano’s 495 Productions. It featured popular viral video creators going head-to-head in an epic battle to create a new viral video based on a weekly theme. Pereira also hosted “Let’s Ask America,” an interactive game show syndicated by E.W. Scripps Television and produced by the late Jim Paratore over the summer.
