According to a new study carried out by Google Insights, 87 percent of smartphone users in Saudi Arabia notice mobile adverts. The findings indicate the importance and effectiveness of pay per click in reaching potential audiences. Furthermore, results showed that 87 percent also searched for local info and almost just as many took action as a result – for instance called a number or visited a website. Appearing at the top of Google’s rankings is very important for driving traffic to your site and pay per click enables this. The findings indicate that smartphone users are paying attention to advertisements on their device.

This is great news for SEO Positive, one of the UK’s most established search engine optimisation and pay per click agencies. Whilst the United Arab Emirates ranks high for smartphone usage the findings can be translated to other countries with similar trends in smartphone usage, for example the United Kingdom and United States of America. Ben Austin, Managing Director of SEO Positive added, "87 percent of an audience is a huge sector and has a large amount of potential conversions – the study really demonstrates the effectiveness of pay per click advertising, making it very attractive to businesses who need to reach as many people as possible."
