Omnego Inc. Powers “Scrubs & Beyond” New m-Commerce Mobile App for 2-way Communication with Customers

Scrubs and Beyond carries merchandise catering to busy healthcare industry professionals. They recently added a mobile app to their online catalog, retail and mobile web channels to leverage their mobile web asset and to develop a more engaging app platform allowing 2-way communication with their customer base.

Today, Omnego Inc, an innovative white-label mobile app platform provider announced they were selected by Scrubs & Beyond, a fashion-forward retailer of scrubs for healthcare professionals, to implement their branded mobile app.

Founded in 2000, Scrubs & Beyond started by selling its products through catalog, added 27 retail storefronts across the U.S and more recently a mobile web site. The addition of a mobile web site allowed for a mobile presence. But by implementing Omnego’s mobile app platform, they have been able to leverage their mobile web asset and develop a more immersive app platform to engage in 2-way communication with their customer base.

Omnego’s flexible platform architecture will deliver native app features as well as integrate with Scrubs & Beyond business assets to deliver:

  •         Integration to the Scrubs & Beyond e-commerce web site/shopping cart.
  •     Scrubs & Beyond can now push targeted offers to the app users which can be stored and used later for online, in-store or mobile redemption.
  •     Using Omnego’s platform generated Smart QR codes and URL’s across various channels; in-store, website, email and social media campaigns, allows Scrubs & Beyond to deliver offers direct to their mobile app users and as a mechanism that will be used to increase adoption of their mobile app.

The use of mobile offers has increased the rate of acceptance from between 12%-14.5% versus the 1%-5% acceptance rate typically seen when issued by email.
