Colleton River Plantation Club, ranked among the Top 15 Residential Communities in the country, is pleased to announce that its Executive Chef, Robert Wysong, will be included among the top chefs featured in the inaugural edition of “Best Chefs America.”

The editors at “Best Chefs America” interviewed more than 5,000 chefs in order to determine who they consider the most talented, most exciting and most influential chefs in the U.S. Chef Wysong’s commitment to culinary excellence and exceptional reputation among his peers helped secure his inclusion in this comprehensive, peer-review guide that will feature a foreword by acclaimed food writer Michael Ruhlman, exquisite photography, in-depth interviews and more.

A native of Maryland and graduate of Charleston’s prestigious Johnson & Wales University, Chef Wysong is certified with the American Culinary Federation and credits his upbringing and travels with establishing his passion for cooking and the mealtime experience.

Regarding the inclusion into Best Chefs America, Wysong related, “The honor and feeling of being recognized by your professional peers is a remarkable state of mind.
