Superbreak, the Short Breaks Specialist, Reports Online Growth for European City Breaks with Paris Most Popular Amongst Customers

Superbreak has reported a year-on-year increase in online revenue for European city breaks over the past six weeks, with Paris city breaks continuing to prove a firm favourite amongst customers, with revenue +192% YOY. Furthermore, with the Easter break fast approaching, sales across key European city break locations are already showing online revenue growth with Eurostar inclusive travel the most popular transport option with customers to date.

Paris in particular is proving to be a key destination as the firm continues to expand its product offering to include a broader range of budget 2* to luxury 5* hotels in Paris and flexible transport options to the city. The addition of added value extras, including three nights stay for two, 50% savings when staying 3 nights or more and a free one hour Seine river cruise with every Paris booking offers customers even more ways to experience Paris for less this year.

Superbreak continues to expand its range of attraction and tour tickets to allow customers to build their own custom-built short breaks. The choice of cultural walks, morning and evening bus tours, city passes, bike tours, sea life aquarium tickets and even Disneyland Paris Celebration tickets including transport to the park on the Disneyland Paris Express bus, offers customers huge choice and value for money on their break away.

The Yorkshire based tour operator is fast establishing itself as a strong transport provider with the addition of Eurostar travel to 11 destinations, mini cruises to Bruges and Amsterdam and, more recently, flight inclusive breaks. Superbreak continues to expand its range of entertainment, travel and ticketing options to ensure their customers have the best short break experience possible.

Chris Hagan, Head of Overseas Product & Contracting commented: "So far 2013 has seen our newly re-launched overseas short breaks programme go from strength to strength with significant growth in volume to all of our key destinations. It is encouraging that our customers see us as a one stop shop for their short break needs as we are now able to arrange everything for their break from international transport, transfers, hotels, attractions and even airport hotels and parking prior to their departure. The programme will continue to evolve throughout the year with some exciting new destinations and well known hotel groups soon to be added, it is definitely a case of ‘watch this space".
