Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) March 24, 2013
James Uhler, Real Estate Broker for 38 years and board member for the Western Pennsylvania Real Estate Investor’s Association, will present this free seminar on Wednesday, March 27 at 6:00 p.m. The seminar is titled “Strategies on Appealing Your Property Tax Assessment”. The seminar will take place at the Robinson Township Library, 1000 Church Hill Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15205. Attendees will come away with new and helpful insights on how to obtain a fair assessment for your property. Over 40 people attended this seminar in 2012 seeking help with their assessments.
Jim Uhler is a locally recognized subject matter expert on Allegheny County tax appeals, and has personally handled the property tax appeal for hundreds of home owners and investors across the Pittsburgh metro area. Mr. Uhler has worked with property owners in nearly every neighborhood in the county. There are very few individuals who have the base of tax appeal knowledge that Jim will offer to the public at this seminar. The deadline for a tax appeal is April 1st, 2013.
Mr. Uhler will be speaking and sharing many of the secrets that have allowed him to successfully bring down the assessment value of many local homes. Jim even helps people who own vacant lots, commercial buildings or any other taxable real property located within the jurisdiction of Allegheny County. Many of the home owners that have used Jim to do their tax appeals have come back to him in subsequent years. With the volume of repeat business the Jim has, this event is likely to be his last public event of the year.
The event is being co-sponsored by Josh Caldwell of Caldwell Holdings. Caldwell Holdings is a Pittsburgh based real estate investment firm with properties in several Allegheny County neighborhoods. Caldwell Holdings is also part of the Western PA Real Estate Investor’s Association, and the company has used the services of Mr. Uhler during the past two tax appeal seasons. According to Josh Caldwell, “There is nobody in the Pittsburgh area who is better at crafting and defending a tax appeal with the Allegheny county judiciary, bar none.”
Handouts will be provided free of charge to those who attend. A question and answer period will follow the presentation. No preregistration needed. You do not need to be a Robinson Township resident to attend. The only requirement is that you have to own property in Allegheny County.
