State Collection Service, Inc., a full-service accounts receivable management solutions provider, announces its Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer has been named to the HFMA Medical Debt Advisory Taskforce.
The goal of the taskforce is to identify a common set of medical debt collection practices that can be standardized for widespread industry adoption. It is anticipated that these practices will lead to improvement in the overall collection process, the patient experience, and financial performance.
Members of the Taskforce include Hanson, representatives of ACA International, HFMA and the healthcare providers. Hanson has been involved with HFMA for over a decade. Additionally, Hanson serves in many voluntary leadership roles with ACA International.
