The Company’s Materials Manufacturing Capabilities Boost Battery Performance

The company has also extended this production innovation into a range of carbon-silicon nano-composite materials that radically improve capacity, cycle life, and charge efficiency. These materials will enable rapid and dramatic improvements in Li-ion batteries for applications including consumer electronics and electric vehicles.

EnerG2 has utilized its proprietary Carbon Technology Platform (CTP) to develop and produce the highest-performing anode materials available on the market. These tailored ultra-high purity materials provide a distinct advantage over typical graphite-based anodes. The company’s innovative manufacturing approach has enabled the integration of advanced nano-scale silicon into EnerG2’s best-in-class hard carbon materials, providing a revolutionary cohesive carbon-silicon nanocomposite anode material. A Unique Manufacturing Facility

EnerG2 operates the first and only manufacturing facility in the world dedicated to the commercial-scale production of nano-engineered carbon material for high-performance energy storage applications. The 74,000 square foot plant – located in Albany Oregon – came online in February 2012.
