In this time of economic turmoil, one local company is not only thriving, but helping others to grow as well. G & E Advisor, LLC recently moved from its Washington, DC location to Spring Lake, North Carolina right outside the gates of Fort Bragg. This new facility has enabled G & E Advisor to fine tune their operations and focus on helping to build US businesses. The move stems from G & E Advisor’s unprecedented growth in the last year and will enable the company to maintain closer contact with its customers. Diana Potts /CEO of G & E Advisor who specializes in knowing and understanding environmental directives and mandates, was pleased to see North Carolina’s new Governor McCrory in office because of his stand for environmental efforts. McCrory’s stand for environmental efforts was a huge part of Potts’ decision to move the company’s offices to North Carolina where Potts has lived.

G & E Advisor supports clients who want strategy, advice and ideas to bring innovative products and services to the world’s biggest buyer: the U.S. Government.

Part of G & E’s growth has been advising established and small DOD companies of how to successfully contract with the U.S. Government. This need for success and G & E’s ability to help these growing companies is just one reason why G&E Advisor continues to grow.

Now that they’ve settled in to their new offices, Diana Potts is opening a new company, G & E Partners, LLC in North Carolina to work with manufacturers of new green technology. The first of these technologies will be Air to Water Generators and foldable solar backpacks.

An entrepreneur herself, Potts knows first-hand the perils and pitfalls facing start-up businesses and therefore is able to guide her clients on a more personal level.

About G & E Advisor:
Ms. Potts has been involved in both an advisory and leadership capacity for numerous organizations. She played a major role as an advisor with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality during the Hurricane Katrina and Rita cleanup operations. She was recently nominated to the board of Sustainable Sandhills(a Fort Bragg Initiative) and was for several years on the Board of Braxton Bragg AUSA, the largest AUSA chapter in the world.

Ms. Potts continues to be in demand as a speaker and consultant. The Government of China invited her to speak on environmental issues and participate in resolving the issues prior to the Olympics held in China. She is also a regular lecturer for the North Carolina Military Business Center, and has guest-lectured at Methodist University Boot Camp for Entrepreneurs, Fayetteville State University, and the Solar Center at North Carolina State University.

Ms Potts has delivered custom training, presentations, and webinars for national and regional events. Some of the associations she has worked with include the General Services Administration and the National Air Force Environmental Training Symposium.

Ms. Potts is a successful business woman and entrepreneur. She has received numerous awards, including the Congressional Medal of Distinction for Environmental Efforts, the Congressional Order of Merit, and the National Leadership Award. In 2009, she was awarded Business Woman of the Year for North Carolina and was honored at a dinner, with President George W. Bush making a special guest appearance.
