Sturgess Jaguar has been shortlisted for the Motor Codes Garage of the Year award for 2013.

Sturgess Jaguar ( has been shortlisted for the Motor Codes Garage of the Year award for 2013. Motorists across the UK voted throughout February to nominate the best dealers in their region and the Leicester-based retailer has been named as a finalist in the Midlands Franchised Main Dealer category.

Winners of the regional finals, also decided by vote, will be entered for the overall Garage of the Year accolade, and a panel of judges will choose the overall champion. The judging panel for this year’s award includes Motor Codes managing director, Chris Mason, television presenter and car expert Vicki Butler-Henderson, Auto Express editor Steve Fowler and Trading Standards lead motoring officer, Tim Milsom.

Motor Codes is an OFT-approved, self-regulatory body for the automotive industry and operates three codes of practice to encourage high standards of customer care across the sector. Over 7,000 garages across the UK subscribe to the code of practice relating to aftersales services and in doing so provide motorists with a guarantee of the level of care they can expect.

Customers of the garages shortlisted for Garage of the Year 2013 can vote at until Sunday 24th March. All voters will be entered into a prize draw to win a pair of tickets to the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship finale at Brands Hatch, with full hospitality provided by Porsche Cars GB.
