Tabatha Thompson has joined Intesa Communications Group, LLC as director of the firm’s new Washington, D.C., office. Based in San Diego, Intesa is a full-service public relations and corporate social responsibility firm serving clients nationwide.
Ms. Thompson brings more than 17 years of experience to her new position, serving as a strategic communications counselor to leading technology and aerospace executives, a science communicator for NASA, and a university media relations director. Before delving into behind-the-scenes communications work, she was a writer for CNN International and heard around the world as an anchor and reporter for CNN Radio. She was also a public radio reporter and producer.

Ms. Thompson earned her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Western Kentucky University. She is a member of Washington Women in Public Relations and the Public Relations Society of America. She also volunteers with FIRST Robotics.
