ShareRewards has developed a new program that brings community school supporters and local businesses together to form a powerful economic engine for a new source of local school funding.

ShareRewards uses the highly successful principles of frequent flyer programs to create a unique approach to school fundraising. Whenever a supporter shops at a participating merchant, rather than earning points to later redeem for awards, a portion of the purchase price is donated directly to the school or district foundation that the shopper has designated- the ones that matter most to them.

How does the Program work?
The program is sponsored by the local school district’s foundation.
Merchants in the community will enroll in the program and choose to rebate a percentage of each supporter’s purchase dollar to the schools as a tangible show of support.
School district supporters (parents, friends, etc.) enroll and their credit transactions are automatically identified for rebate amount when they shop at sponsoring merchants.
The rebate is donated to the district by the supporters.
The strength of the program is that it is simple for the supporters, the merchants and the district but sophisticated behind the scenes. It offers a robust marketing system designed to build sales and enhance communications between customers and local businesses.
The program is already operational in one major Texas district and is under review by districts around the country.
