The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) has named Washington, D.C.–based executive search firm, Vetted Solutions, as its search firm to help recruit and evaluate candidates for the position of president and chief executive officer following the planned departure of William Weber at the end of 2013.
Working with the APSP CEO Search Committee comprised of member company representatives, Vetted Solutions developed an executive position profile to inform potential candidates about position requirements and provide an overview of the industry. The profile contains a scope of the position, experience required, key responsibilities, and measures of success, among other criteria.
“The APSP Board of Directors and the search committee welcome qualified candidates to apply for this most important position,” said Steve Gorlin, Gorlin Pools & Spas and chairman of the APSP board of directors. “This position is critical to the renewed expansion, effective development, and success of our association and the industry as a whole. We are seeking a candidate that can take the industry to the next level.”
