“What’s New Microsoft Technology Events are important opportunities for individuals and management from organizations to obtain information that can change a career or increase business for a company,” said Russell Sarder, CEO of NetCom Learning. “We are very proud that Richard Oertle, a technical trainer and IT consultant and Microsoft expert for NetCom Learning who has more than thirty years experience in the field of information technology will be a featured speaker at our upcoming seminars,” said Sarder.
One of the most important concepts that Richard Oertle talks about is the importance of learning different Microsoft products together. Specifically he points to the training synergy of Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint and Lync. As he points out once you have learned one of these software products you are half way there in learning the other two because they have so many similarities. He recommends that students take these software application courses as a unit.
Richard has worked as information professional for more than thirty years helping companies save money, improve productivity, become more efficient through software deployment, migration and employee training. He became a Microsoft Certified Trainer in 1995 and has been selected by Microsoft to assist with courseware design including contributing to the official 2010 SharePoint courseware. His specialties include Windows Server, System Center, Windows 7, Lync, Powershell, SharePoint and Exchange.
Call to teach and work with software and computers
In discussing his life’s choices, Richard feels that he had a calling to do what he does including working in information technology and in teaching software skills. He feels that his knowledge of both hardware and software and his work in the field gives him the understanding he needs to teach information technology effectively. His many years of experience allow him to offer trouble shooting tips in every class he teaches. This teaching style of offering real information to his students such as what will go wrong, what will it look like and how do you fix it, makes Richard Oertle a favorite among instructors. He is also known for his empathy for his students and his interest in helping one student at a time to succeed.
