SAR Productions set to move deeper into the online movie distribution sector.

There’s no doubt that online independent film distribution, especially content for the mobile online user, is the way forward.

SAR Productions Ltd, the award winning UK, London based, independent film company announced today that it would be developing its distribution arm of the business to cater for the future of online independent film distribution and marketing. Within the next few months, SAR will be launching its online distribution channel.

SAR’s distribution channel will first start to roll out feature films from its own production house and then it intends to acquire movies, shorts and documentaries from outside sources.

Stephen Lloyd Jackson, Founder and CEO of SAR Productions, says that technology is changing at a rapid pace. “There’s no doubt that online independent film distribution, especially content for the mobile online user is the way forward.”

‘David is Dying’, SAR’s first movie, is already available to watch on Amazon’s instant video. SAR will have ‘DID’ available on its own platform too, after the launch of its distribution channel, as well as Jackson’s debut 2006 re-edited gangster noir thriller ‘Rulers And Dealers’.

SAR will eventually include on its distribution menu Jackson’s latest feature film ‘Sable Fable’. The film is presently in post-production and should be completed by the summer. The hard-hitting drama is a beautiful story exploring the complexities of love, sex, race and hypocrisy through different couples whose lives intertwine through a series of unfortunate events. It is scheduled to be available on the SAR channel sometime in 2014/15 after its international festival run and limited cinema release.

produced and making their way to audiences.
