“Businesses actually can grow and even thrive in this economy, but you have to be willing to do whatever it takes."

Susan Baroncini-Moe, author of "Business in Blue Jeans: How to Have a Successful Business on Your Own Terms, in Your Own Style" commented on the increased necessity for commitment and hard work for business owners and entrepreneurs, due to the sequester.

“We live in an instant gratification world,” said Baroncini-Moe from her home office in Indianapolis, Indiana, “And people expect that they can start a business and achieve success overnight. Overnight successes, though, rarely happen overnight, especially in this economy.”

After the fiscal cliff and the debt ceiling crisis, the sequester has many would-be entrepreneurs and fledgling business owners wondering if this is a time in which any business can succeed. “I’m scared,” said Will Byrnum, of Louisville, “I’ve been trying to grow my business for quite some time, but I just don’t know if it’s possible now.”
