While the book appeals to new and veteran sales professionals, it can also be useful in life in general. The book teaches how to get someone to say yes by finding their motivating factor, stimulating it and aligning goals for mutual success.
Everybody has a motivating “X factor,” and by uncovering it, the reader will have greater success in sales and in business. La Vecchia promises, “By using four purchasing categories (people, process, product, price) you can place your target into one of them and then dig deeper to find out why they purchase that way (that is their X Factor).”
Anyone can be a salesperson given the right process and training. But, La Vecchia warns, while you can teach skill, the reader must have the will and passion to carry it out.
