The feature enables users to ensure that confidential documents can have a permanent watermark that helps in identifying them even when emailed or faxed. Tracking confidential documents is a big issue when it comes to a paperless office. The watermarking feature is designed to address this concern to a great extent. It's one of the features that ensure that a confidential document remains just that. The way it works is very simple, but effective. Once you have put a watermark (and you can customize it to a great deal), it stays with the document even if you email it, print it or even fax it. Isn't that great?"
He continues "Another concern that was voiced by many of our existing users was the limitations on workflow management. It was important to address this as workflow management is really what makes GLOBODOX a complete document management system. So we have added four new activities to the workflow engine. These features would surely give users better control. If I may say so myself (without sounding a bit too full), we have done a great job! I am personally very happy with the release, and I am sure most of our users would find it a great version that further solidifies the paperless environment."
According to the official sources, there are also several upgrades made to the document distribution function, that lets users control the way in which the documents are distributed. The upgrade allows users to distribute the documents with or without the annotations, redaction and watermarks based on the permissions assigned to them.
