Adrian Roselli, Co-Founder and Vice-President of Algonquin Studios, will be a featured speaker at Stir Trek 2013, a one-day conference focused on teaching software developers, and others in the industry, the latest and greatest in technologies, techniques, and tools. His presentation, “Making Your Site Printable,” will walk through the process of making responsive web sites respond to the format developers most often forget—print.

“The push for responsive design has helped developers consider how the sites they develop can adapt to different devices, including sizes, screen resolutions, and even contexts,” says Roselli. “It should now be easier than ever to respond to print, a format that has existed since the start of the web.”

“I'll be speaking about implementing user-focused print styles for web sites and how you can measure that use,” he continues. “I'm pleased that the printed page, printed from an otherwise paperless web site, has started to get some traction with web developers. This conference will be a great venue for delving into the technical aspects and gathering feedback from attendees.”

Stir Trek will offer attendees 40 sessions of critical content on topics including web and mobile development, JavaScript, Cloud Computing, and User Experience and Interface Design, delivered by well-known regional and national speakers in addition to a private screening of Star Trek: Into the Darkness, which opens in theaters the same day as the conference. The confernence, being held on May 17, 2013, at the Marcus Crosswoods Theater in Columbus, Ohio, is a locally-focused event and organizers saw this year's tickets sell out in a mere eight minutes. Stir Trek’s corporate sponsors include Microsoft and CODE Magazine.
