New Beginnings Recovery Center, the leading teen residential treatment program in the Southwest and one recognized nationwide for teen rehabilitation, today announced that CEO Johnny Patout will speak during May at two international conferences on addictive disorders.
At each conference Patout will present “The Hidden Dynamics of Addiction,” which has proven to be effective in helping teens gain insight and accept the importance of a 12-step philosophy. “Through the presentation, I help identify the common thoughts and feelings that teens have when struggling with addiction,” says Patout. “This leads to more effective treatment planning and information to assist family members in understanding and seeking teen drug treatment.”
The first conference at which Patout will present is the Association of Intervention Specialists annual meeting, being held May 7-8 at the London Marriott Hotel Kensington. This conference targets interventionists from around the world who are focused on the role intervention has on placing individuals into the appropriate treatment.
Patout also will present at the 10th UK/European Symposium on Addictive Disorders. UKESAD is the largest drug and alcohol recovery conference in Europe, boasting more than 60 world-class experts and 500 attendees. It is being held May 9-11 in London’s Tower Hotel, and is billed as the only event in Europe that has demonstrated how to achieve long-tern and sustainable recovery.
Later in May, Patout is to attend the National Association of Addiction Treatment Professionals Annual Addiction Treatment Leadership Conference. It is being held May 18-21 at the Westin La Cantera Hill Country Resort in San Antonio, Texas.
