Men will leave this talk armed with the latest information on low testosterone, erectile dysfunction, and prostate health.

In response to growing awareness and interest in men's health issues, Dr. Drew Dylewski and Dr. Matthew Hogan of Texas Regional Urology will be offering a complimentary Men's Health Seminar in The Woodlands on May 22, 2013. The incidence of low testosterone has skyrocketed over the past five years, and many patients would like to understand the range of treatment options. The doctors will also share with the community critical information about prostate health as well as treatment options for erectile dysfunction.

Low testosterone has become a hot-button topic for men today. Studies indicate that over 35% of men over the age of 40 may have low testosterone levels. Common symptoms include low energy, low sex drive, irritability, loss of mental focus, and weight gain. Treatment must be individualized and can include gels, creams, injections, pellet implantation, and oral medications. Dr. Hogan will focus his presentation on low testosterone and associated issues.

Erectile dysfunction affects half of men over 50. Treatment options vary according to the individual and range from oral medication, to injections, to surgical implants. Dr. Dylewski will discuss the causes and treatments for ED.

One in six American men will get prostate cancer, the most common cancer in men. Dr. Dylewski will discuss prostate screening, PSA testing, and cancer treatments. He will also review what all men need to know about prostate enlargement.

The seminar will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at 6:30 PM at the South Montgomery County Community Center, 2235 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands, Texas 77380. There is no cost to attend. Spouses, significant others, and guests are encouraged to attend, but all must register to guarantee adequate seating.
